The Mantua-based company in the current year decided to purchase a technologically advanced slurry spreading machine, such as the Varvaet, equipped with our EvoNIR sensor. After using it for real-time analysis of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium during slurry spreading in the field, the company decided to install the kit in order to take advantage of the benefits of using EvoNIR on the forage harvester as well. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to remove the sensor from one piece of machinery and install it on another, to have it operative within a matter of minutes.
EvoNIR for real-time NIR analysis of slurry makes it possible to define the target value of a specific fertilizer element and automatically control the flow to achieve the desired diffusion factor. With EvoNIR, equipped with built-in ISOBUS and CAN J1939 connections, the analyzer can now be relied upon for smooth and reliable operations and precise slurry applications according to predetermined crop requirements and regulations.
EVONIR for real-time NIR analysis during harvest predicts not only dry matter but also crude protein, starch, ash, fiber (ADF/NDF), which are important nutrients for feeding purposes. The analyzer is suitable for every brand, and provides fast and accurate measurements directly in the field.
In addition, due to the flexibility of the sensor, it is possible to display data both on virtual terminals and on the Field Track App, developed by Dinamica Generale. The app empowers breeders, farmers and contractors to monitor the information generated directly in the field and communicates wirelessly with the Field Trace cloud software, which makes it easy to monitor and analyze all activities on the farm.
