For installations on trailed fertilizers with belt, the GeoSpreader system have to be connected to the NPN impulse counting sensor installed directly on gearbox of the hydraulic motor that drives the belt. The sensor’s resolution should have not less than 600 impulses per shaft revolution. This sensor is supplied and installed from the manufacturer of the hydraulic motor.
 

Basic Version

GeoSpreader system (BASIC VERSION) monitors the amount of material distributed in a specific area (t/ha o t/ac.)
If the system is equipped with load cells, the spread factor is calculated through real-time acquisition of the remaining weight inside the machine.
If the system is NOT equipped with load cells, the spread factor is calculated on the amount of beater turns or on belt speed.
 
The indicator displays:
  • Programmed spread factor
  • Real-time spread factor  
  • Weight of material inside the machine
  • Ground speed of the machine
  • Beater rotation speed
  • Belt speed
                                                                                  
P1:  sensor for measuring beater rotation speed
P2:  connection to impulse sensor installed on the hydraulic motor that drives the belt. This sensor is not included into the GeoSpreader kit. The NPN-type sensor should have not less than 600 impulses per shaft revolution.

SUPERIOR VERSION

GeoSpreader system (SUPERIOR VERSION) same features of the BASIC Version plus:
- MANUAL/AUTOMATIC control of the belt speed or beaters.
 
If the system is equipped with load cells, the spread factor is calculated through real-time acquisition of the remaining weight inside the machine.
If the system is NOT equipped with load cells, the spread factor is calculated on the amount of beater turns or on belt speed.
The speed of the belt can be set MANUALLY by the operator (driver) or AUTOMATICALLY from the system to reach the programmed spread factor.
 
The SUPERIOR version is equipped with switches for activating the following hydraulic functions:
  • Open / close the gate
  • Moving forward / backwards the belt of the machine
  • Increasing / decreasing the belt speed
Switches on the indicator allow quick and effective control of the hydraulic functions of the machine. Up to 7 hydraulic double-way functions are available on request.
 
The indicator displays following information:
  • Programmed spread factor
  • Real-time spread factor  
  • Weight of material inside the machine
  • Ground speed of the machine
  • Beater rotation speed
  • Belt speed
P1:  sensor that measure beater rotation speed
P2:  connection of impulse sensor installed on the hydraulic motor that drives the belt. This sensor is not included into GeoSpreader kit. The NPN-type sensor should have not less than 600 impulses per shaft revolution.
EVP: output of proportional valve control. The output voltage can be set from 0 to 10 Vdc. For actuating the proportional valve from 0 to 2,5 Adc the Proportional BOX is required.
