Dinamica Generale was among the largest contributors to support the reconstruction of the Poggio Rusco elementary school, which was severely affected by the May 20-29 earthquake.
After the earthquake hit the Mantua area, citizens, businesses, associations and local institutions rallied to support the reconstruction of the school complex, which has become a symbol of the community’s restart.
According to Mayor Sergio Rinaldoni, about 40,000 euros had already been collected in the current account dedicated to reconstruction thanks to numerous solidarity initiatives organized in the area.
Among the most prominent initiatives was one organized by Dinamica Generale.
After more than a month and a half of working inside a temporary tensile structure caused by the inability of the company’s facilities following the earthquake, employees were able to return to their operational headquarters.
Before the official return to the company, Dinamica Generale wanted to leave a concrete sign of its connection with Poggio Rusco by organizing a solidarity dinner.
The event involved about 240 people including workers, employees, company executives and many local business owners.
Thanks to the participation and generosity of those present, about 7,000 euros were raised during the evening for the reconstruction of the elementary school.
The initiative was an important testimony to the strong link between Dinamica Generale and the territory of Poggio Rusco and the province of Mantua.
In addition to the development of innovative technologies for precision animal husbandry, weighing systems, and NIR solutions for agriculture, the company has always shown concern for the local community, especially in times of hardship.
The reconstruction of the school has thus become a symbol of resilience, collaboration and solidarity for the entire earthquake-stricken area.
Other initiatives in support of the fundraiser included the “Salò helps Poggio” event, which featured celebrity chef Gualtiero Marchesi and the Marchesi Trio.
The initiative raised about 25,000 euros for the reconstruction of the elementary school in Poggio Rusco.
The association “The Castle of Bridges” also contributed to the fundraiser with a donation of 2,250 euros earmarked for local schools.
